The Titans (5-4, 1-0) played at home for the first time this season on Saturday.  The outcome was a 65 -61 victory over Pierce (5-8, 1-1).

TCC controlled the first half and went into halftime up 37- 26.  The titans came out in the second half and built a lead of 18 points behind the guard play of Anngelina Sanchez.  Sanchez had 11 of her 16 points in the first six minutes of the second half. 

Freshman Alexus Grant had a solid performance leading the Titans with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 steals. 

Pierce cut the lead to four points following a 4 point play, which included a made 3 pointer and a free throw.

The Lady Titans took 4th place at the Pierce College Raider Classic this past weekend, December 11th - 13th 2009.

After a tough loss to the eventual tournament champion, Lane Community College, TCC rallied and won their next two games to take 4th place. On Saturday TCC defeated Grays Harbor CC 53-31. Freshman Sarah Quantz had 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Titans to the win.

The final game was Sunday against Wenatchee Valley. Sophomore Malasera Taulaki added the offensive spark to ignite the Titan's, scoring 22 points. She also came off the bench to add 14 points against Lane in the first game. Tara Cook also added 19 points to the win over Wenatchee Valley.

Sophomore Kalasa Taumaletia also contributed strong rebounding in the tournament with 9 Rebounds vs. Grays Harbor, 7 vs. Wenatchee, and 6 vs. Lane.

The Titans are on the road this coming weekend at the Skagit Valley Crossover December 18th - 20th.
