Titans Defeat Clackamas 86-63 Story by the TCC Challenge

Titans advance to the final round of the NWAACC Championship Tournament with a dominant win over Clackamas 86-63.

Our boys could have easily hung their heads and dragged their feet after yesterday's heartbreaking loss at the hand of Peninsula, but that wouldn't represent the true Titan spirit, now would it?

Our Titans came back with a powerful statement. Today, Tacoma completely eclipsed the two-time defending league champion Clackamas Cougars. The Titans jumped out to an eleven point lead on the Cougars, never looking back. Dominique Williams completely lit up a 3-point land hitting 4 for 5, plus he netted a field goal for 14 of Tacoma's first 22 points. The Titans had as much as a sixteen point lead at one point in the first half. Clackamas was just out-worked and outmatched. Four Titans found double digits, and Kevin Davis recorded another double double cashing in 18 points along with 12 rebounds and 4 steals. Dominique Williams was Tacoma's high scorer with 22 pts, adding 6 assists and 3 steals. Chris Holmes dropped 14 pts, with 7 boards and 5 steals, and Nate Walker broke 10 pts, adding 6 rebounds. The Titans would end up beating the Cougars by 23 points 86 - 63, knocking them out of the tournament.
