TCC Guard Chris Holmes Named MVP Western Region.

TCC men defeated South Puget Sound Community College 85-77 on February 27, wrapping up a perfect season to become the first men's basketball team in NWAACC history to achieve a 16-0 record in Western Region play.

The Titan men's team accomplished this feat while top scorer and rebounder Brandon Magee #23 sat out the final six games with a foot injury. The team hopes Magee will be back in action for the tournament.

The Titan men's basketball team will take on Chemeketa Community College at 4 p.m. March 5 at the NWAACC Championship Tournament in the Toyota Center in Kennewick, WA.

"To be the only team to ever go undefeated in region play despite all of our injuries is truly remarkable," said Head Coach Carl Howell. "Our players have done a tremendous job staying focused and being resilient throughout the season. It has truly been a special season to this point."
