Despite injuries Titans place 6th at the NWAACC Tournament

The TCC Men's Basketball team kept their streak alive with their 11th straight elite 8 appearance under Head Coach Carl Howell despite losing 2 starters to injuries on the 2nd day of the NWAACC Tournament. Darius Johnson-Wilson who averaged 16ppg & 9.5 through the first 2 games suffered a shoulder injury vs Chemeketa in the Elite 8 game while starting guard Darnell Williams was out with a foot injury.

The Titans who finished the season 21-10 have won 21+ games for 11 straight seasons under Head Coach Carl Howell. The Titans beat Peninsula 73-60 in the first round behind the 16 points & 7 rebounds from Julian Vaughn, 13 points & 8 rebounds from Darius Johnson-Wilson, 15 points from Demetrius Smith, 12 points from Josh Lord and the 6 points, 12 rebounds & 4 blocks from Dom Campbell.

In the Elite 8 matchup the Titans faced Chemeketa who the Titans beat 110-96 in last years NWAACC Championship. The Storm who returned their top 8 players from last year beat the Titans 84-81 in classic tournament battle. Josh lord led the Titans with 21 points. Darius Johnson-Wilson added 19 points & 11 rebounds before suffering a season ending shoulder injury, Julian Vaughn added 17 & 7 rebounds, while Damani Coley & Jibreel stevens added 11 points each.

the Titans bounced back on the Tournaments 3rd day to beat Whatcom 81-76 behind Josh Lord's career high 26 points. Dom Campbell also added a career high 17 points while also adding 7 rebounds & 4 blocks. Julian Vaughn added 13 points for the Titans.

On the final day in the 5th place/6th place game the Titans lost to Everett 70-62. The Titans who were already without Johnson-Wilson & Williams also had Coley & Vaughn suffer injuries in the 2nd half. The Titans were led by Josh Lord's 18 points, Demetrius Smith added 10.
