Three Tacoma Athletes Earn NWAACC Academic Leadership Award

Each quarter, the NWAACC recognizes student athletes who have achieved a high degree of success in the classroom. Criteria for this award are: the student must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.50, earned 40+ credits at an NWAACC school, and be a 2nd year participant. This Fall TCC had three student athletes who were nominated and received this prestigious award.

Congratulations to:
Jaime Ecklund 3.79 Cum. GPA~ Volleyball
Courtney Smith 3.57 Cum. GPA ~ Volleyball
Amber Kliewer 3.66 Cum. GPA ~ Women's Soccer

Out of the 35 NWAACC member colleges, only 27 total student athletes met the criteria for this award.
