Titan Athletes make the Grade in the Classroom

TCC student-athletes finish Fall Quarter with a combined 2.76 grade point average. In addition to the impressive G.P.A the Titans also took a full course load. The average Titan student-athlete passed 16 credits Fall Quarter.

Women's Volleyball had the highest team grade point average at 3.07. Volleyball was followed by Women's Soccer at a 2.85, Men's Basketball at 2.81, Women's Basketball at 2.75, Baseball at 2.66 and Men's Soccer at a 2.61. The biggest improvement came in Men's Basketball where the G.P.A. rose from 2.10 in Fall of 2007 to a very respectable 2.81 this fall.

" I am really proud of all the student-athletes, They have truly defined what it means to be a student-athlete. " said Titan Athletic Director Carl Howell
