Tacoma Community College Head Baseball Coach Ryan Mummert has announced the signings of 15 high school seniors and 3 transfers who will join the Titans for the 2012 season.

"I thought we did a great job filling our needs for this coming year," stated Coach Mummert. "Our goals for this past years recruiting was to 1) Get better in the Middle Infield, 2) Add depth behind the plate and 3) Replace the arms we lost. We signed impact guys in the middle infield, got 2 quality catchers and upgraded our depth on the mound. We became a much deeper team in all positions."

Davis Alderman OF/RHP (Kennewick, WA / Southridge HS)
"Davis is a great addition to our program with his ability to pitch and play outfield. We get basically two players with one spot. A left-handed hitter with some pop, who can also run it up to the mid to upper 80s on the mound. "

Erich Armstrong 1B/OF (Tacoma, WA / Franklin Pierce HS/Eastern Washington University)
"Erich is a tremendous athlete. He went to WSU out of HS, then left to play football at EWU. Another lefty hitter, he was an All-State player in high school and while he has been out of baseball for a while, we expect him to pick up where he left off."

Kameron Banister INF (Seatac, WA / Seattle Christian HS)
"Kameron was a late addition to our recruiting class, but being a left-handed hitter he brings a different element to our infield. He shows great work ethic and a willingness to learn. Kameron will challenge for playing time in the infield."

Kenny Bayer INF(Puyallup, WA / Emerald Ridge HS)
"Kenny comes to us late but brings the ability to player either corner infield spot. He is a 1st class kid that continues to work hard every day to make himself better."

Chris Bones INF (Ridgefield, WA / Ridgefield HS)
"Chris flies under the radar due to coming from a small school and missing his Senior year with an arm injury. An outstanding worker, Chris has a chance to bring some offense to our line up with his bat. Weight room will really benefit him."

Brandon Choate RHP (Lynnwood, WA / Mountlake Terrace HS)
"One of our earliest commits, Brandon is a true power arm with his fastball sitting in the high 80's and touching 91. If the secondary pitches improve, Brandon has a chance to have a great career one day at the next level."

Ben Circeo INF (Bothell, WA / Cedar Park Christian HS)
"When we signed Ben we thought he was one of the top INF's in the Northwest. He possesses a passion for the game and is a great leader. He fills a huge need for us in this recruiting class and will compete right away for playing time."

Alex Dean RHP (Sammamish, WA / Eastlake HS)
"Alex has a live arm running his fastball in to the upper 80's. He has a good feel for the curveball and change up and with time in the weight room will see his velocity increase. Should contribute early whether it's in the bullpen or rotation."

Garrett DeGallier (Bellevue, WA / Eastside Catholic HS/Gonzaga University)
"With Garrett transferring in, he brings a huge boost to our OF. A plus runner with some pop in the bat, Garrett has the ability to play all 3 outfield spots. He will make an instant impact for us."

Earl Fernandez RHP (Tacoma, WA / Franklin Pierce HS/Centralia College)
"He reminds me of Sean Santchi who was the closer here 2 years ago and now at Gonzaga. A power arm that sits in the high 80's with the ability run it to the low 90's and shows a big 12/6 CB with a projectable change up. After being out of baseball for a couple years, Earl will be fun to watch progress."

Seth Heck INF (Edmonds, WA / Kamiak HS)
"We were on Seth for a while and were excited when he committed. A polished infielder, Seth was one of the top hitters for Chaffey this Summer. With his great work ethic, Seth will compete right away for playing time in our middle infield."

Lukas Hinton RHP (Yakima, WA / West Valley HS)
" Lukas comes from a great tradition at West Valley HS and we are excited about his potential. His fastball sits mid to upper 80's with clean mechanics and has command of the secondary pitches. He is a workhorse on the mound and will eat up innings for us."

Damon Lybeck OF (Yakima, WA / Davis HS)
"When you see Damon you notice he is a weight room guy. He's put together physically. He shows great arm strength and has the ability to play all three outfield positions. Damon gives us great depth in the outfield.

Chad Michaud C (Vancouver, WA / Prairie HS)
"Chad was a late addition to this class after we lost a Catcher to D1 and we are really happy he was still available. He can really catch and throw and one Pro Scout told me he is one of the 'Top catch and throw guys he's seen all year'. He will challenge early for playing time."

Jake Ross C (Black Diamond, WA / Kentlake HS)
"Jake was a big get for us as we battled some other big schools for him. Another big time catch and throw guy with a pop time as low as 1.8, Jake is always working. Jake is going to really help our ball club."

Tayler Saucedo LHP (Maple Valley, WA / Tahoma HS)
"One of the top LHP in the state, Tayler is a legit D1 player and Pro prospect. At 6'4", his fastball sits 86-88 and has been up to 91 with command of his secondary stuff. If we can add weight to the frame, Tayler's velocity will continue to improve. He will make a big impact for us."

Ryan Skoubo LHP (Bremerton, WA / Olympic HS)
"Ryan gives us another tall and projectable LHP. An early sign at WSU, Ryan hides the ball really well making it tough for hitters. His fastball sits mid 80's, but is likely to increase with time in the weight room. Ryan fills a huge need for us."

Jordan Woodring OF (Tacoma, WA / Franklin Pierce)
"Jordan is one of the best pure athletes we signed in this class. He is a good runner and can really go get the ball in the outfield. After being a football and basketball guy in high school, it will be exciting to watch him when he just focuses on baseball."
