New Tacoma Community College Baseball Coach Ryan Mummert has announced 17 high school seniors and 4 transfers who will join the Titans for the 2011 season.

Stephan Adams OF (Seattle, WA/West Seattle HS)
"Stephan is one of those kids you see that amazes you with his physical stature. His potential is through the roof with big time power at the plate and great arm strength from the outfield. Stephan has a chance to get drafted next year and we expect big things from him."

Dylan Baker RHP/UTL (Juneau, AK/Juneau-Douglas HS)
"Dylan has a chance to be very successful. His fastball sits 87-88 and touches low 90s with an 82 mph SL and good Curveball. He has great mound presence and to go with a competitive mentality. Dylan is going to have a chance to hit as well."

Matt Bell RHP (Covington, WA/Kentwood HS)
"When we saw Matt, we knew how special he would be. He poses a fastball 86-88 that touches 91 and good command of his secondary pitches. Matt has tremendous upside and will be in competition for a starting spot this coming year."

Clayton Brown OF (Auburn, WA/Auburn HS)
"Clayton is another one that is put together physically to go with lots of athleticism. He is a 5-Tool player with the versatility to play all 3 outfield spots. His brother was a 2-time All Division player here and Clayton could easily do the same."

Travis Crumb OF/RHP (Federal Way, WA/Beamer HS)
"Travis is a kid that flew under the radar a little this year. He has a high baseball IQ and can really swing the bat. Travis has the build to add some muscle which will really increase his power potential. Great upside."

Jamie Daniel LHP (Juneau, AK/Juneau-Douglas HS)
"Jamie is not one of those guys that blows you away with velocity, but being left handed and understanding how to pitch, that's what he relays on. He also poses a good pickoff move which is key for a left hander."

Nick Foster INF (Renton, WA/Roosevelt HS/Southwest Oregon CC)
"Nick was a late addition to our recruiting class, but really helps our team. He has easy actions with an above average arm. Offensively Nick shows flashes of adding power to our line-up. He's one to follow."

Brian Gustafson C (Silverdale, WA/Central Kitsap)
"Brian has caught some great Pitchers and has a real feel for how to catch. Very solid receiving skills and above average arm strength. Brian has a great work ethic which will allow him to get better every day."

Marcus Hinkle INF (Puyallup, WA/Cascade Christian HS)
"Marcus comes to us after a successful high school career. He's a local kid and really wants to learn. He has great athleticism and we project him out as a middle guy. He's going to help our ball club."

Matt Houser RHP (Issaquah, WA / Issaquah HS)
"Matt comes to us late with great potential. He is a big body that has natural movement to his ball. With a few adjustments he has a chance to really blow up."

Matt Jackson RHP (Renton, WA/Kentridge HS)
"Matt has a mid 80's fastball with a great feel for his change-up. His work ethic is tremendous which has allowed him to continue to improve. He is also a great academic student. "

Jeff Larabee RHP (Seatac, WA/Mt Rainier HS)
"Jeff had a great Senior Year and helped keep Mt Rainier atop the rankings most of the year. Jeff's Fastball reaches mid to upper 80's with great command. He is a workhorse on the mound and will eat up innings for us."

JJ Nazzaro INF (Puyallup, WA/Rogers HS)
"JJ is one of those players that can provide a spark in so many ways. He's not very vocal, but quietly just is always producing in the scorebook. He is versatile enough that he can play all 3 infield spots."

Garrett Picha LHP (Puyallup, WA/Puyallup HS)
"Garrett is a kid we saw late that really impressed us. He has great size and a loose arm. His velocity has a chance to jump from the low 80's to high 80's and he has a real feel for his change-up, which not many do coming out of high school."

Will Scott INF (Yakima, WA/Eisenhower HS)
"Will was our first commitment and we couldn't be happier to get him. On top of being a great player, he has great enthusiasm and the competitiveness we want in our players. He fills a big need for us and should contribute early"

Talon Sisley RHP (Kent, WA/Kentlake HS)
"Talon was a player we continued to follow throughout the year and he just continued to get better. He has a mid 80's Fastball to go with an above average CB. He has made real strides in a year and we look forward to seeing him progress."

Stephen Somers C/INF (Redding, CA/Shasta HS/Colorado St U-Pueblo)
"Being a left-handed hitter, Stephen gives us something that we don't have much of. He is versatile with the ability to play catcher or infield. Stephen brings great energy to our team."
