11 Titans Honored with All Conference Awards

Tacoma, WA - 11 TCC Titan baseball players were honored by the NWAACC Conference with All Region and All Conference awards for the 2010 season. 4 garnered All NWAACC honors, 4 earned All Western Region 1st Team status, 5 were named to the All Western Region 2nd Team, while 5 more were named Western Region Gold Glove winners.

Titan closer Sean Santschi represented Tacoma as both the NWAACC Closer-of-the-Year, and Western Region 1st Team closer. Santschi, a sophomore headed to Gonzaga University, notched 13 saves in 14 opportunities with a microscopic 0.50 ERA. Freshman David Olson also earned All NWAACC honors, as he was named 2nd Team Utility Player. Olson was 3-1 with 1 save and a 1.26 ERA on the mound, while also batting .308 with 3 home runs. He was also named the Western Region 1st Team Utility Player.

Sophomore first baseman Will Pierce and sophomore shortstop Ryne Briley were both named to the All NWAACC Gold Glove team. Both were also named to the Western Region Gold Glove team, and Briley earned 2nd Team All Western Region accolades as well.

Sophomore starting pitcher Colton Brown and sophomore 2nd baseman Matt Williams were both named to the All Western Region 1st Team, while sophomore center fielder Riley Rosvold, sophomore catcher Tony Rossetto, freshman pitcher Andrew Olson, and freshman designated hitter Brandon Johnson all earned 2nd Team All Western Region awards. Rosvold was also named to the Western Region Gold Glove Team, along with sophomore 3rd baseman Andy Scott.

The 11 players Tacoma had named to All Western Region honors was the most for any team in the conference.
