Tacoma, WA - Sophomore OF Jesse Stokke has signed a National Letter of Intent to play at New Mexico State University next fall. The Kent, WA native batted .319 with 30 runs scored for the Titans in 2007, appearing in 39 games. Stokke is the first Titan player this year to sign an NLI. Head Coach Donegal Fergus on Stokke: "Jesse is an outstanding player and an even better person. He's a natural-born hitter with great instincts at the plate. We are counting on him to be an offensive force for us this year. I'm so proud of him to have this opportunity to continue his career at such a great institution. When Rak (Assistant Coach Ron Rakowski) was recruiting him he was really enamored with the way he swung the bat, but also how he played the game. He's got a great demeanor out on the field. I'm so happy Ron signed him to be a Titan, and I feel blessed to have had a chance to coach him."
