IBEST Career Pathway Training

Program Description

I-BEST programs are for students who want to improve English language or basic skills but also want to earn a college-level certificate or 2-year degree.

I-BEST students have two teachers in each class: one professional-technical instructor, and one English-language or basic skills instructor. In addition, I-BEST students receive additional support for each professional-technical course. Read more...

Certificates

I-BEST students can earn career-specific certificates in the following programs:

  • Accounting Office Associate Certificate
    Begin working toward a career in accounting. Prepare for entry-level clerical and accounting positions in a variety of business environments.
  • Medical Registration and Admissions Certificate
    Interested in working in a medical office? This certificate prepares students for jobs in patient admissions and scheduling in doctor's offices and hospitals. Typical duties include answering phones, greeting clients, typing, making appointments and filing.
  • Help Desk Certificate
    Prepares students for jobs in help desk, network administration and technical support. This certificate is the first step on the path to a Networking and Convergence Technologies AAS degree.
