ANGEL LOGIN

WEEK ZERO

TCC eLearning has implemented a policy called "Week Zero" that requires TCC Full Online and Hybrid classes to be open 1 week before instruction begins. The Week Zero page has tutorials for students to work through before the quarter starts.

Computer Requirements

HARDWARE

• PC: Ability to run Vista(32 bit and not 64 bit), Windows 7 (32 and 64bit), and Windows 8 (32 and 64 bit).
  Mac: Ability to run Mac OS X 10.5 or higher
  Linux: Ability to run latest version of Mozilla Firefox
• RAM: 2Gb minimum
• Internet Connection: Broadband (Cable, DSL, 3G, 4G) highly recommended
• Browsers: Mozilla Firefox highly recommended, Internet Explorer is okay
• Recommended Peripherals: Speakers, microphone, webcam

SOFTWARE

Required:

• Web Broswer: Mozilla Firefox (highly recommended) or Internet Explorer
• Plugins: Flash
• To use the Conferences feature in Canvas, a supported Java plug-in must be installed. This comes with the freely installable Oracle Java Runtime Environment (JRE) installation package. The following JRE versions are supported: 1.6x and higher.
• PDF reader: Adobe Acrobat Reader, Foxit, or Nitro PDF Reader
• Word processing: Google Docs, Microsoft Office, or Libre Office

Recommended:

• Anti-spyware, anti-malware, and anti-virus programs. A full list of recommendations are on this page.
