Program Description

TCC offers courses that cover the first 2 years (college level courses) of a typical 4-year college degree that prepares students to apply to pharmacy school. TCC also offers courses to help students develop the skills needed for college-level courses.

Most TCC pharmacy students transfer to:

  • University of Washington School of Pharmacy
  • Washington State University College of Pharmacy

Degree Options: Associate in Arts and Sciences Degree (Option B)

Program Planning

High School Preparation: While in high school, students should pursue all the available courses in mathematics, chemistry, biology, and physics.

Students should also gain exposure to the pharmacy profession through experience in a pharmacy setting and exploration of the pharmacy literature.

Recommended Class Schedule: Based on the individual transfer requirements for each of the 4-year institutions, we suggest specific class schedules.
