2011-12 TCC Music Concert Dates

Most concerts are in Bldg. 2 on the TCC campus, and begin at 7:30 pm. Most events are FREE. Please contact department chair John Falskow for more details about specific events.

Many of these concerts are also streamed live on Titan TV 2. Archived video performances are also available at our website.

Spring Quarter 2012

An Evening of Chamber Music with Maria Larionoff and Saint-Saens @ 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2012.

  • April 29 - Brass Unlimited! Pops Concert
    Brass Unlimited is hosting the 5th annual "Pops Concert" with trombone soloist Gary Shutes. Gary will be featured on two Henry Mancini numbers arranged especially for this concert. Additional music selections will include Sondheim's "Into the Woods," music salutes to Copland and Sinatra, music from Riverdance, and a medley of Earth, Wind & Fire. 3:00 p.m., Bldg. 2 Auditorium, FREE.
  • May 4 - Violin and Piano Recital
    Dr. Robin McCabe and Maria Larionoff perform works by Ravel, Mendessohn, and Saint Saens. 7:30 p.m., Bldg. 2 Auditorium, FREE.
  • May 23 - TCC Orchesra Concert
    Featuring guitar soloist Leon Christian, perfomring Castelnuovo-Tedesco. Other works include Borodin's In the Steppes of Central Asia, and Dvorak's New World Symphony. 7:30 p.m., Bldg. 2 Auditorium, FREE.
  • May 31 - TCC Symphonic Band Concert
    Featuring piano soloist Dr. Amy Grinsteiner, performing the Gregson Piano Concerto. Other works by Dana Wilson, Tichelli, Jeff Jordan, and Henk van Lijnschooten. 7:30 p.m., Bldg. 2 Auditorium, FREE.
  • June 8 - TCC Choir Concert
    Dr. Amy Grinsteiner and Donald Hurd lead the TCC choral groups in this spring quarter concert. Featuring a wide variety of music styles, and student soloists. 7:30 p.m., Bldg. 2 Auditorium, FREE.
  • June 13 - TCC Jazz Band
    7:30 p.m., Bldg. 2 Auditorium, FREE.
    A variety of jazz favorites with Eric Stevens and the TCC Jazz Band.
