STUDY LITERATURE AND CREATIVE WRITING AT TCC

Do you love to read?  Or Write?  >> Follow your passion, and pursue an Associate in Arts degree in literature or creative writing.

The literature program at TCC offers a literature and a creative writing track.

As part of the literature track, students choose from among a rich variety of exciting courses ranging from ancient to postmodern literature and from the traditional to the experimental or avant-garde.

Students in the creative writing track select courses in creative writing (fiction or poetry), and complement their writing by exploring works from the world of literature. They work closely with accomplished faculty who are published poets, novelists, and nonfiction writers and collaborate in our Student Publications, the Trillium and Una Voce

TCC's literature and creative writing program provides you a direct pathway toward successful transfer into a bachelor program.  As you prepare for transfer to a 4-year university, our literature and creative writing faculty and curriculum will help you reach your academic and career goals in English, literature, the humanities and associated disciplines.
