Program Description

TCC offers courses that cover the first 2 years of a typical 4-year college chiropractic program (college-level courses) as well as courses to develop skills needed for college-level chiropractic courses.

Degree Options:Associate in Arts degree (Option B) (PDF)

Program Planning

Preparation: While in high school, students should pursue all the available courses in mathematics, chemistry, biology, and physics. Students should also seek exposure to the chiropractic profession through experience in a chiropractic setting and exploration of chiropractic literature.

Recommended Class Schedule: We suggest the following schedule of classes for students who wish to earn the Associate Degree in Arts & Sciences (college transfer).

The Pre-Chiropractic Program given below should be modified with the assistance of a Tacoma Community College chiropractic advisor to meet the specific requirements of the chiropractic college. Transfer agreements may not apply to Option B degrees. Each course will be evaluated for transferability. Vocational courses may not transfer.
