Admission Process

Steps for Applying

  1. Complete the Paralegal program virtual information session.
The Virtual Information Session will guide you through a series of pages designed to explain what the Paralegal program at TCC entails, the Paralegal profession, as well as steps for getting started.
  2. Apply to the college.
If you have questions about the enrollment process, contact Advising in Bldg. 7. (253.566.6091).
  3. Complete your prerequisite assessment.
Assessment at college-level English and reading is required for all Paralegal courses. More information is available on the TCC assessment page.
  4. Meet with Advising or the Paralegal program chair.
Once you have completed the virtual information session and your assessment, contact Jennifer Sorensen for advising into the Paralegal program. Do this the quarter BEFORE you expect to start courses.
  5. Register for classes.
The general advisor or paralegal program advisor will help you map out the courses needed to complete the program. The Paralegal program runs on a space-available basis. Each course has a limited number of seats.
