Tuition and Fees*

Students are encouraged to review the official tuition rate information posted by Tacoma Community College.

There are a total of 106 credits in the Health Information Technology (HIT) degree program (including 20 prerequisite credits) and 46-48 credits in the Medical Billing Specialist (MBS) certificate program (including 5 prerequisite credits). Overall tuition and programs costs will vary. The following tuition/fee figures are estimates.

  • $105.50 per credit (1-10 credits)
  • Variable credit cost for anything over 11 credits (see official tuition rate information)
