Early Childhood Education

TCC's Early Childhood Education program is designed to develop skills needed to be a successful early childhood professional.

It is directed toward students planning to work with young children, birth through 8 years of age, including those who are culturally, linguistically and ability diverse.

Enrollment is open to:

  • Current paraeducators or teacher assistants
  • Current child care providers
  • Current early childhood teachers
  • Individuals who would like to work with young children who have special needs
  • Those who would like to work in a variety of early learning settings

Employment in this field requires a criminal background check.
