Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Sonographers are highly skilled professionals who help physicians gather data needed to reach diagnostic decisions. They work under physician supervision in:

  •   Hospitals
  •   Clinics
  •   Private practices

Program graduates are prepared to do general sonography. With additional training, graduates can perform cardiac sonography, vascular technology, and other subspecialties.

Program Description

  •   Leads to an Associate of Applied Science Degree
  •   Is 21 months long
  •   Is full time

Students complete:

  •   Classroom and lab work on campus
  •   Clinical education in an affiliated ultrasound department
