WorkFirst

The WorkFirst program assists people who are employed and low income parents, or those who are receiving Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF).

Eligible students will receive assessment and career planning prior to beginning training to prepare them to enter the workforce in wage progression positions.

Customized job service training programs currently being offered are:

• Office Assistant
• Medical Office Clerk
• Customer Service & Sales

Some of the services provided are:

• WorkFirst tuition assistance/financial aid (tuition, books, fees)
• WorkFirst Work-study (paid or unpaid work experience or internships done in conjunction with training)
• Customized Job Skills Training (full-time customized vocaitonal training programs)
• Free educaitonal assessment testing
• Student services, educational planning, resume assistance, job search assistance
