At Tacoma Community College, behavioral science students enrolled in anthropology, psychology, and sociology courses enjoy

  • faculty excited about teaching
  • extensive interaction with the instructors
  • economical tuition
  • Psi Beta – a national honor society for psychology majors
  • Phi Theta Kappa - a national honor society for science and liberal arts majors
  • faculty with extensive professional, clinical, and field experience

Our students are very well prepared for advanced classes when they transfer to universities throughout Washington State and the country.

Tacoma Community College also offers introductory classes to prepare students for the anthropology, psychology, and sociology majors' classes, and prerequisite classes for Allied Health, Human Services, and Administration of Justice programs.
