Traffic Impacts

Though there may be some temporary impacts over the duration of the project, the main construction traffic will be routed around existing campus roads and parking lots. Traffic and parking impacts will be minimal. See diagram at left.

Gym and Fitness Center Impacts

We expect the building to be open for use throughout the construction process; however, offices, exercise spaces and locker rooms will be relocated as needed. Your patience is appreciated.

Walking Trail Impacts

The walking trail between TACID and Building 20 is temporarily closed due to construction. It will be re-opened in the fall..

Benefits

In addition to upgrading current sports and fitness facilities, the Health and Wellness Center provides the large gathering space the campus currently lacks. Among other things, it will enable the college to hold Commencement on campus.
