Celebrate individual and cultural differences through film!  Tacoma Community College hosts its 3rd annual Diversity Film Festival, April 14-25 at Tacoma’s Grand Cinema. More information about the festival, including screening times and film trailers, posted here.

Ticket prices are as follows:

  • Adults: $7 matinee
  • Adults: $9 evening
  • Adults: $7 all screenings with military ID
  • TCC Students: $2 (with valid TCC Student ID)

TCC’s Student Life department is subsidizing this opportunity for students to experience films outside the cinematic mainstream, chosen to reflect the diversity of the human experience. Community sponsors for the festival include Engine House #9, The Spar, Café Divino, the Tacoma Community College Foundation, Masa Comida Mexicana, and The Grand Cinema.

The festival begins at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14 with a screening of “The First Grader.”  A reception will be held at Masa immediately following the film.
