Spring Quarter Concerts

Tuesday, May 20, 2014 – TCC’s music program wraps up the quarter with five concerts, all free and open to the public (donations accepted). The concerts take place in the TCC Auditorium (Building 2), which can be accessed from the college’s main 12th Street entrance.

May 22: TCC/EWU Concert

TCC Symphonic Band and Jazz Band host Eastern Washington University’s Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Code Red (pep band). This shared concert will feature TCC and EWU ensembles playing a diverse selection of music, including works by Mozart. 7 p.m.

May 23: TCC Orchestra

Featuring piano soloist Dr. Amy Grinsteiner, the TCC Orchestra will play Dello Joio’s “Air for Strings,” Mozart’s “Piano Concerto no. 9,” and Frank’s “Symphony in d minor.” 7:30 p.m.

May 29: TCC Choirs

Dr. Anne Lyman and Djhan Christos-D'Arby lead the TCC choral groups in a concert featuring a wide variety of musical styles, with student soloists. 7:30 p.m.

May 30: TCC Symphonic Band

Performing a wide variety of works for wind band. 7:30 p.m.

June 13: TCC Jazz Band

Performing favorites and jazz standards. 7:30 p.m.
