Chemical Dependency Professional Information

The Washington State Department of Health is the certifying agency for Chemical Dependency Professional for everyone who did not begin their internship prior to July 1, 1999. Under the state's umbrella, students are required to complete special academic competencies. The Human Services Professional program here at Tacoma Community College can provide you with the educational courses needed to meet these academic competancies as outlined in WAC 246-811-0303.
