The following picture illustrates the main entry page for e-mail access.
User name: Enter your assigned login (the portion of your e-mail address before the @ sign).
Password: Enter your assigned password (case sensitive).
Client (Premium vs. Basic): Premium is a full-featured version of Outlook Web Access. For slower connections, the basic client will provide quicker load times. The premium client requires Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher.
Security (Public vs. Private): Choosing the public security setting times out the session after 15 minutes, vs. the 2 hour timeout of private. Public is the default.
After you login with your temporary password, or if your password has expired, you will be presented with the following password change page. Here you enter your current (old or temporary) password, your new password, then your new password again to confirm. Passwords must meet the password complexity requirements. The requirements are listed on the page with examples. Once you successfully change your password, you will be taken to a success page. A link from the success page allows you to sign into Outlook Web Access with your newly created password.
Passwords expire every 90 days. When your password expires, you will not be able to recycle passwords that you have used in the past.
If you wish to change your password through Outlook Web Access before your password expires, you can do so by clicking on the "Options" button within the OWA client. Within options, click the "Change Password" button. You will be directed to this page.
